Cake and Cookies!

I am down another 2 pounds. Even after birthday cake and Jason yummy cookies. So that puts me at 92 lbs. Jason lost 1 lb, which puts him at I think 97. We have decided that stress makes me loose weight and stress makes Jason gain weight.
GOT STRESS? Bring it on!
Jason made my day and gave me hug and commented that I felt skinnier! He really knows how to when me over.
I want cinnamon rolls really but I know I would eat a ton. So you just enjoy eating them all by yourself.

An OK week!

I have been sick this week, yes that is my excuse and I'm sticking to it. :) I am only down 1 lb this week.  I didn't exercise at all so I guess I should be glad I didn't gain.  I'm not sure about Karl, I will have to post his progress tonight.  I have a renewed hope for this week, except I have to make cinnamon rolls for a couple of families for Karl, who else wants me to bring them some?  I would be happy to bring some over.

Lucky this week

I think it is just luck this week. I ate well...but did not exercise as much as I should have. I am down 2 pounds this morning. Bringing me to 95.8. I am totally PMS this week so wish me luck. I am hoping to not go crazy and eat a chocolate cake or Kellies mother-in-laws brownies. YUMMY!!!
Oh, David is down another pound, but I don't know where that puts him...I will comment to this later today and let you know.
Good Luck everyone!!!

Better Week

Well this week was a bit better, I am down 3 lbs so I am at 97lbs.  And Karl is down 4 so he is at 96lbs.  Even with my mother-in-laws double chocolate fudge mint brownies.  But I must admit I am already tired of salads.  I need healthy recipe ideas!

On a roll!

I am feeling great. I have lost another 3 lbs. That puts me at 94. Jason has lost another 1 lb so that puts him at 98.
My sister is a personal trainer and loaned me her BodyBugg. I have been wearing that and keeping track of what I eat on an online program. It is crazy to think of how easy it is to eat more or just cut back. Now every time I think I am hungry I just have a big glass of water.
Let's hope we can keep this up.
Good job Natalie, I am glad you are feeling better and more motivated.

Horray!!!!

I only lost 1.5 pounds this week...but, I am way excited! I am at 97.8. I am feeling motivated and happy at any progress on this. Any little bit down is good!!! I was unmotivated at the begining of the week...but, got it back together in the end.
Best Wishes to all for this week!

A Day Late

So I have lost two pounds and David has lost two pounds, however, we are going camping today and we bought a lot of junk food to take with us - why do we do that? There's just something about having snacks on a campout, I guess it eases the pain of camping (j/k/). So anyway, we'll see if we gain it all back.

I'm feeling lucky!

I have had a good week but Jason is crabby. I have lost 3 lbs even while eating some girl scout cookies. Although, Sadie has been a little grumpier this week so I am not going to cut back as much this week.
Jason lost 1 lb. He is not happy about that. He wants to know more about David's green drink. Is he sharing?
So we all had different successes and that is okay. The end result, whether we lose a lot or not, is a great BBQ with friends. (don't kill me for the cheesy in that)

What a Week!

I am agreeing with Kellie...Whatever!!!!
I did not have a perfect week...but I did do really well for most of the week. The scale however is not easily impressed with my efferts. I am at 99.4 this morning. However, my partner (who may have to sleep on the couch for this) had a great week and lost 4.2 pounds. Whatever!!!!
Who wants to go to Dairy Queen for lunch????

Whatever !!!!

So Yes I am a bit annoyed this morning.  Most of the week I showed I lost a pound, not much-- but progress.  So as of this morning I am back up to my normal weight, WHAT????  So I am blaming it on my big ol' muscles I am getting.  Yeah we'll call it that?  So I am still at 100 lbs.  Everyone needs to remember to post progress or non-progress on Mondays.  :) I want to hear your success story, ok, not really,  lie to me.

The Smith's Are Finally In

I know most of you don't know us, however we are still out to beat you all :-) Good Luck!

This is David, looking just about as excited as he is about starting a diet !
And here I am, my husband told me I should wear a different shirt because this one is more slimming. So if this is me looking slim I know I'm in trouble .

The Kings are IN!

Here are the before shots. David in his "sausage suit" and me just back from the Salon. We are both going to lose 15 pounds. David wants you all to know that he is willing to hit the tanning bed and shave his chest to win this thing. We are not as brave as Kellie. Good Luck to everyone! and ..."Next time you see us, America, we will be the biggest Loosers."

Sad But True!

Karl is loving the fact that I just drug him off the couch for his picture.  His goal is to go down 10 pounds, and hoping to beef  up the muscles.  Looks like were off to a great start :)

So currently I am the same weight I was when I was nine months pregnant with Kaden, Yeah that's a problem.  I am blaming it on the cold winter here, and the urge to snuggle under a blanket drink hot chocolate and eat cinnamon rolls.  My goal is to lose 20 pounds.  So if the last few days are any kind of indicator -- looks like I am buying the stakes.

Losers for Sure!

Jason and I took pictures last night. We tried to make ourselves as fat as possible. Boy are they scary. But we have decided that if we are doing this we are going to have fun with it. I hope you all will join us in the fun. I would hate to be the only pictures up here.
Jason's goal is to loose 15 lbs and mine, Lori, is to loose 10 lbs. I have to loose a lot more but that is the most I can hope for while nursing a baby.
This picture makes me look 6 months pregnant and I really hate it but I am posting it anyway.
We did a little DDR as a family last night to help work off those girl scout cookies. Whitney asked if she could get up early and do DDR before school. I agreed thinking there is no way she will get up. She came and got me at 6:19 am this morning to come and dance with her.
She wants to do it everyday. It looks like I have an exercise buddy!

Are You A Loser?

Welcome to Farmington's very own Biggest Loser- Couples! Okay so here are the rules as far as I understand, if I'm wrong please leave a comment so we can all agree, by the way, I'm Kathleen, Kellie's sister (the tall one, just in case we ever meet) anyway here we go:

1.) We weigh in every Monday morning, and since some of us aren't as brave as those that wear their sports bras and spandex shorts and don't mind sharing their real weight with the world, for the rest of us we can just go off a straight 100 pound beginning. So if you lose 2 pounds you would be at 98lb or if you gain weight, don't laugh it happens, we would weigh in at 102lb. Just post your weigh in as a comment.

2.) May 1st is our goal date. There was an idea that we should go off a percentage lost vs. actual poundage, but I think that's just the skinny girls talking or we could go just real pound totals. What's the consensus?

3.) Keep the sabotage to a minimum :-)

4.) The couple who loses the most will enjoy a steak dinner provided by the rest.

That's all I know for now, so let me know if there are any corrections or rules we need to add. I thought it might be fun to post before and after pictures so you can email me at Kat_Smith@cox.net and I'll post them.

Good luck and happy dieting ;-0
